Longbow analyst Neil Frohnapple downgraded PACCAR to Underperform and established a $44 price target following dealer survey results. Contacts noted incremental price pressure on new Class 8 trucks in North America, which could cause margin headwinds for PACCAR in 2H 2016 and 2017, the analyst wrote. Frohnapple said checks also indicate that production lead times are very short and July order activity is off to a slow start, and sees risk of imminent production cuts in North America.
