UBS analyst Michael Cherny upgraded Patterson Companies (PDCO) to Neutral from Sell, stating that his sell thesis played out more quickly than he anticipated. His call was the risk to out-year estimates as the company worked to transition away from its exclusive Sirona (XRAY) relationship in the U.S. Although he still has concerns over the growth rebound, he feels the risk/reward is more balanced. Cherny has a $40 price target on Patterson Companies shares.
