Deutsche Bank analyst Gray Powell says his "extensive checks" indicate email security remains a high priority among buyers and that the demand environment is strong. For Proofpoint, the data points were good, Powell tells investors in a research note. The analyst heard commentary suggesting that the pricing environment is more favorable today than 6-12 months ago and that Proofpoint is actually pushing price increases through to some customers on renewals. Powell keeps a Buy rating on Proofpoint shares with a $114 price target.
