DA Davidson analyst Steven Chercover upgraded Packaging Corp to Buy from Neutral and kept his $135 price target. Chercover says the current volatility that took the stock price down 15% from its highs has produced an attractive entry point for this "best in class operator in the containerboard industry" which usually trades at a premium valuation. The analyst adds that the emergence of inflation is not news in the industry and has already been discounted by the company in its guidance.
