William Blair analyst Sharon Zackfia maintained an Outperform on Dave & Buster's ahead of the company's Q2 earnings report, forecasting above-consensus EPS and "materially improved" comps from Q1 given an easier year-ago comparison and improved overall consumer spending. In a research note to investors, the analyst says she believes Q3 comps are "similar" so far to Q2, though comparisons will ease in late-August against hurricane-impacted results last year. She suspects management will back its FY comp guidance.
