As previously reported, Susquehanna upgraded PMC-Sierra to Positive from Neutral and raised its price target to $11 from $7. Analyst Mehdi Hosseini has increased confidence of a sustained datacenter build-out/refresh cycle in China, which can materially contribute to results. Hosseini said PMC's storage controller has been touted as "superior" by Inspur, a key China server supplier, customer Memblaze has a 60% market share in China's PCIe SSD market, and carrier build-out in China is a positive for the company. The analyst expects Chinese datacenter growth to accelerate in second half 2015 with solid growth prospects in 2016.
