BofA/Merrill analysts led by Erika Najarian raised PNC Financial estimates above consensus and increased its price target to $100 from $90. The analyst believes incremental cost savings could lead to higher consensus estimates and expects management to provide more detail into 2017 earnings at a competitor conference today. Najarian prefers PNC given it can execute on earnings growth without the help of the macro environment and reiterates his Buy rating on shares.
