Loop Capital analyst Garik Shmois initiated coverage of Pool Corp. with a Hold rating and $227 price target. In a research note to investors, Shmois says gross margin comps are "tough" into 1H20 and the stock is trading above absolute and relative historical valuation levels. Should there be a pullback, assuming the macro continues to cooperate, Shmois says he would be much more interested in jumping in and recommending the shares at a later point as the investment thesis is unlikely to change over the next several years.
