Citi analyst Suneet Kamath opened at Positive Catalyst Watch on Prudential saying he expects a "constructive" 2019 outlook call from the company on December 6. He expects Prudential to raise its near-to-intermediate term return on equity target to 13%-14% from 12%-13% and offer 2019 operating earnings per share guidance of $12.85-$13.35. Prudential trades at ~20% discounts to absolute and relative price-to-earnings ratios ahead of prior outlook calls, Kamath tells investors in a research note. He keeps a Buy rating on the shares.
