Baird said Pioneer Natural's strategic acquisition of Midland Basin acreage improves the company's long-term economic development opportunity. The firm raised its 2017 estimates and refreshed its 2016 numbers as well. Baird reiterated its Outperform rating and raised its price target to $196 from $189 on Pioneer Natural shares.
