Craig-Hallum analyst Brad Berning maintained a Buy rating and $93 price target on PayPal (PYPL) after the company announced plans to buy iZettle for about $2.2B in an all-cash transaction, telling investors in a research note that PayPal is a structural winner in mobile payments and sees being in the midst of an inflection point of mobile commerce adoption. Commenting on speculation that PayPal could buy Square (SQ), Berning said "probably not," adding that the iZettle deal should quiet down any rumors on this end.
