Piper Jaffray analyst James Marsh says Pandora's acquisition of Ticketfly is another step by the company to expand its relationship with both artists and labels beyond royalty payments. Management's moves should "pave the way" for direct licensing deals that could enable Pandora to offer its service in markets outside the U.S., Marsh tells investors in a research note. He keeps an Overweight rating on the name.
