Northland analyst Tom Sepenzis says Qualcomm's product announcements last night were intended to let everyone know that the company remains the leader in mobile processors despite recent market share losses. The chipmaker "may have engineered a winner" with the Snapdragon 820, Sepenzis tells investors in a research note. He believes believe Qualcomm could have already won a small percentage of the Samsung Galaxy S7 which launches in early 2016. The analyst is "incrementally more positive" following the product announcements but keeps a Market Perform rating on Qualcomm.
