Stephens analyst Harsh Kumar believes cannibalization of the iPhone 5S by Apple's (AAPL) newly-launched iPhone SE is good news for RF suppliers and he thinks the new device should help offset seasonality for most of Apple's supply chain. In particular, Kumar sees the new phone as slightly positive for Qorvo (QRVO) and Skyworks (SWKS). He estimates that the RF front end on the SE is likely to have climbed to about $3.00-$3.25 per device for Qorvo from $2-$2.25 per device is the 5S, while he thinks Skyworks' RF content in the SE rose to $4.00-$4.25 from $3-$3.25 per device in the 5S. Kumar keeps Overweight ratings on Qorvo and Skyworks.
