After meeting with Red Hat's SVP of Application Platforms Business Group and conducting other checks, KeyBanc analyst Ben Mcfadden says that the "growth areas" of the company's Application Development and Emerging segments are only about 5% of its subscription revenue but are more than doubling year-over-year. He says that this growth combined with share gains in other areas make the company's outlook positive. He thinks that the company's profitability appears to be rising and recommends buying the stock.
