BofA/Merrill analyst Joseph Buckley upgraded Red Robin (RRGB) to Neutral and raised its price target to $54 from $45 following the announcement that former Brinker (EAT) CFO Guy Constant has joined the company as CEO and executive vice president. The analyst said Constant was the executor at Brinker's successful capital allocation plan and focused on existing store sales and margins versus new unit growth. Buckley expects unit expansion to be scaled back and expects cash to be returned via buybacks and potentially the initiation of a dividend.
