As noted earlier, JMP Securities upgraded Resource Capital to Outperform from Market Perform. Analyst Steven DeLaney says that the company's divestiture of the Northport middle market loan portfolio is encouraging as it will enable the company to focus on senior CRE loans. The analyst says that the company is making progress on meeting important benchmarks, including simplifying its balance sheet and consistently covering its dividend. Target $14.
