Stephens analyst Ben Bienvenu started Sanderson Farms with an Equal Weight rating and $130 price target, stating that he thinks the risk/reward warrants a more neutral view after the "sizeable move" in the stock so far in 2019. Given the recent, more positive leading supply indicator data and the company's "sterling track record of operational excellence," he thinks the stock should trade at only a slight discount to its historical average normalized earnings multiple, Bienvenu said.
