SunTrust analyst Tobey Sommer said that GAO announced that the protest of SAIC's (SAIC) $728M Air Force Common Computing Environment contract by Leidos (LDOS) has been denied, saying that while Leidos could choose to appeal the decision, he views this as a positive event for SAIC. Sommer tells investors in a research note that the contract is a strong takeaway win for the company and represents all new work. The analyst has a Buy rating and $100 price target on SAIC shares.
