Piper Jaffray analyst Nicole Miller Regan says her latest channel checks suggest Starbucks' food and beverage innovation efforts were well-received by consumers during the quarter. The analyst maintains her up 5.0% same-store sales estimate for the Americas segment in the quarter. She believes sales and traffic trends were positive in April and May before experiencing a sequential decline in June. Regan believes upside to consensus expectations may be limited but maintains an Overweight rating on the shares with a $70 price target.
