President Obama signed legislation extending the solar Investment Tax Credit and wind Production Tax Credit. Morgan Stanley analyst Stephen Byrd views this as a material positive for solar and wind developers, as it should drive higher demand and better economics. Byrd raised his price target on the shares of SolarCity (SCTY) to $104 from$86, Sunrun (RUN) to $28 from $23, SunPower (SPWR) to $43 from $41, and First Solar (FSLR) to $70 from $68.
