After meeting with SolarCity's (SCTY) management, Stifel says that the company "appears to be making progress on monetization" and will very likely make successful monetization deals over the next six to nine months. However, the firm adds that, given SunEdison's (SUNE) situation, it would not be surprised to see SolarCity's deals be delayed. But the firm says that SolarCity has "no immediate funding needs" and has time to negotiate. It lowered its price target on the stock to $56 from $65 but keeps a Buy rating on the shares.
