After Nevada issued a draft order which, if adopted, would reduce the amount the state pays to solar customers, Bernstein says that Nevada is not a large market for SolarCity. However, the firm thinks that the order sets a negative precedent that other states could follow. Bernstein notes that the order does not have a grandfather clause, and it believes that the lack of such a clause could cause investors in Sol;arCity's asset backed bonds to become worried. However, Bernstein keeps a $62 price target and Outperform rating on the shares.
