As previously reported, Buckingham analyst James Clement downgraded ServiceMaster to Neutral from Buy, with a $53 price target, on essentially stable earnings estimates. The analyst would wait for a better buying opportunity as pest control valuations look "a little bubbly." On the strength of "solid" Q1 results, the stock was up about 9% Tuesday versus an approximate 1.7% drop in the S&P 500 Index and is up 46% year to date, far outpacing the 15% increase in the Index, he notes.
