Deutsche Bank analyst Karen Short views Friday's 7% selloff in shares of Sprouts Farmers Markets (SFM) as unwarranted. The documentary PBS will air tonight called "Supplements and Safety" looks like a re-hash of old news, Short tells investors in a research note. Further, Vitamins and Supplements account for less than 9% of Sprouts' sales, the analyst points out. Short also views the cautious comments last week from United Natural Foods (UNFI) and Hain Celestial (HAIN) as "very company-specific" and not relevant to Sprouts. She believes the selloff in the company's shares provides an attractive entry point and reiterates a Buy rating on the name with a $27 price target.
