BWS Financial analyst Hamed Khorsand said that Sigma Designs' guidance for its Z-Wave revenue to decline sequentially in the first quarter poses a "new risk," as it appears that the product is maturing earlier than he had been expecting. The company's fourth quarter results "should not be read as a sigh of relief but more of an indication that not everything is going well" at Sigma, Khorsand contends in his note to investors. The analyst keeps Hold rating and $6 price target on the stock.
