Piper Jaffray analyst Harsh Kumar initiated Semtech with a Neutral rating and a price target of $35. Kumar says the company's "high-performance analog business" is growing at about 2-times the analog industry, and the rest of the business also is growing at a "rapid pace". Kumar notes however that he prefers to stay on the sidelines, awaiting more clarity in the optical/infrastructure space.
