As reported previously, Susquehanna analyst Biju Perincheril upgraded SM Energy to Positive from Neutral. The analyst said recent positive data points from the company and near-by operators are de-risking the Wolfcamp and Lower Spraberry horizons across SM's acreage. He also noted its balance sheet flexibility. Perincheril raised his price target to $31 from $30 on SM Energy shares.
