Rosenblatt analyst Jun Zhang said the Windows launch helped August PC shipments rebound 16% month-over-month, but the analyst has not seen any improvements in demand. Zhang believes PC DRAM prices will begin to fall again in October by around 10% month-over-month, along with further declines in mobile DRAM and NAND prices. The analyst said TV inventory build for Chinese Golden week was very conservative and he expects TV sell-through to get worse in Q4, with TV panel prices falling further. Zhang expects memory and panel suppliers to face increased challenges in Q4 and picked SanDisk (SNDK) as his least favorite name due to high inventory of eMMC and NAND in the market. Zhang also sees risks for Micron (MU), AU Optronics (AUO) and LG Display (LPL).
