After Sonic announced preliminary Q3 same-store sales results ahead of conference appearances, Stephens analyst Will Slabaugh said he was encouraged and believes its business fundamentals are improving. He also thinks the trend should continue, given more normalized weather in the summer months and the company's accelerating product pipeline. Slabaugh keeps an Overweight rating and $32 price target on Sonic shares.
