BMO Capital analyst Shannon Coyne lowered the price target on Spectrum Brands to $85 after its Q4 earnings miss. The analyst cites lower than expected sales and deleveraging-related expenses, anticipating pressures on its core business to persist in the near-term because of "transitory operational issues and increased marketing spend". Longer term, Coyne still expects Spectrum Brands to "benefit from a stronger B/S and focus on the core business post-divestitures, keeping his Outperform rating while also lowering his FY19 EPS view to $3.59 from $4.51.
