After SS&C announced the promotion of Eamonn Greaves from his prior role as the head of alternatives sales to become the Global Head of Sales, JPMorgan analyst Jackson Ader said he believes it is encouraging that the company is promoting from within, which could speed up the ramp time for Greaves and limit disruption. It is "not totally surprising that changes would come to the sales organization" given that organic growth forecasts have missed the company's targets and investor expectations, added Ader, who keeps an Overweight rating on SS&C shares.
