Goldman Sachs analyst Daiki Takayama reiterated a Buy rating on Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix following a report from DRAMeXchange on December 2019 memory contract pricing that reconfirmed his positive outlook for memory in 2020. According to DRAMeXchange, PC DRAM contract prices were steady in December and NAND MLC chips saw a modest price hike of 3%-5% month over month. The analyst continues to believe the DRAM industry will see undersupply in 2020 after an oversupply in 2019 and NAND industry will see undersupply in both of 2019 and 2020.
