Morgan Stanley upgraded State Street to Equal Weight from Underweight and raised its price target to 84 from $64. Analysts led by Betsy Graseck said the Republican sweep is positive for all financial stocks due to increased growth, higher rates, lower taxes, and less regulation. The analyst said State Street has underperform peers and has upside to earnings from increased rates.
