Oppenheimer analyst Colin Rusch attributes today's selloff in SunEdison (SUNE) to "unsubstantiated rumors" regarding its liquidity, but said his analysis lead him to believe that the company has sufficient cash to follow-through on its commitments. He adds that SunEdison is now trading at the value of its TerraForm Power (TERP) and TerraForm Global (GLBL) shares and that he believes the company is actively attempting to improve terms of its acquisition of Vivint Solar (VSLR). Rusch keeps un Outperform rating and $18 price target on SunEdison, which fell briefly below $3 per share this afternoon.
