CLSA analyst Srini Pajjuri argues that PMC-Sierra (PMCS) was not a good strategic fit for Skyworks (SWKS) and that giving up its acquisition pursuit was a positive development. The analyst thinks Skyworks can sustain double-digit organic growth for the next two to three years without an acquisition, but wouldn't be surprised to see the company look for another target, naming Silicon Labs (SLAB), Monolithic Power (MPWR), Semtech (SMTC), MaxLinear (MXL) and Inphi (IPHI) as potential fits. Pajjuri has an Outperform rating and $92 price target on Skyworks shares.
