Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh downgraded Synaptics to Neutral from Buy after the company announced the departure of its CEO and guided the March quarter towards the lower end of its prior guidance. The analyst sees "significant and multiple challenges" for the company following the news and his channel checks in Asia which indicate market share losses. He cut his price target for the shares to $39 from $48.
