JPMorgan analyst Philip Cusick upgraded AT&T (T) to Overweight saying synergies from the DirecTV (DTV) acquisition should drive higher free cash flow. Cusick expects the deal to close on June 30. Further, he believes AT&T's projects that were dilutive in 2014, such as VIP and Agile, should be accretive over time. The analyst raised his price target for AT&T shares to $40 from $35. He coupled the upgrade with a downgrade of Verizon (VZ) to Neutral. Shares of AT&T closed yesterday up 68c to $35.04.
