BMO Capital analyst Lana Chan upgraded TCF Financial (TCF) to Outperform and raised her price target to $29 from $22 while also raising her FY20 EPS view by 19% to $2.50. The analyst believes that the deal for Chemical Financial (CHFC) is "well structured" and "positive for both sets of shareholders". She also sees the earnings accretion from the transaction as attractive and the dilution earn-back period as reasonable.
