Catch up on today's top five analyst downgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. 1. Target (TGT) downgraded to Sell from Neutral at Goldman with analyst Matthew Fassler saying "stagnant to lower" earnings will drive a "subdued valuation on a sustained basis." The analyst is concerned that Target's exposure to online competition will drive ongoing investment in price and operating costs. He cut his price target for the shares to $67 from $77. 2. Exxon Mobil (XOM) downgraded to Sell from Neutral at UBS with analyst William Featherston saying he estimates that over the next several years, Exxon will underperform global integrated peers on production growth. He also views the current valuation as "expensive." The analyst lowered his price target for the shares to $77 from $86. 3. Kate Spade (KATE) downgraded to Neutral from Buy at BofA/Merrill with the firm saying shares are fairly valued following a 26% rise in late December based on reports the company is exploring a sale. 4. Coca-Cola (KO) downgraded to Market Perform from Outperform at Wells Fargo with analyst Bonnie Herzog saying she sees limited upside potential in 2017. Herzog lowered her price target range for the shares to $42-$44 from $49-$51. 5. Cerner (CERN) downgraded to Equal Weight from Overweight at Barclays with analyst Eric Percher saying the company's long-term revenue growth guidance of around 10% is too high. The analyst believes 6%-8% growth is more appropriate. He lowered his price target for the shares to $52 from $63. This list is just a portion of The Fly's full analyst coverage.
