Baird analyst Whit Mayo said the Q2 results for Tenet were better than they appeared. He admitted the optics of the print, guidance and complexity overshadowed the company's progress, but he noted Tenet's acute core growth outpaces all peers and half of the guide down came from its Houston sale. Mayo maintained his Outperform rating and $23 price target on Tenet shares.
