As previously reported, BofA/Merrill upgraded Timken to Neutral from Underperform and raised its price target to $56 from $51. Analyst Ross Gilardi said his thesis is played out and shares have unperformed the broader market. Gilardi sees no risk to earnings as acquisitions provide incremental earnings and price cost concerns are abating.
