After Experian (EXPGY), T-Mobile's(TMUS) vendor for processing credit applications, experienced a data breach affecting approximately 15M people. DA Davidson says that it does not believe that all of those affected were T-Mobile customers. The firm notes that T-Mobile is offering two years of free credit monitoring and identity resolution services for all customers who applied for T-Mobile service during the affected dates.The firm expects Experian to pay the cost of these services, and it does not think that the incident will negatively impact T-Mobile from a financial standpoint. It keeps a Buy rating on the shares.
