Wedbush analyst James Hardiman lowered his price target for TripAdvisor (TRIP) to $33 from $50 and maintained a Neutral rating after the company missed on both the top line and margin fronts in what was an "all-around poor" quarter. In a research note to investors, Hardiman says he is "troubled" by Google's (GOOGL) encroachment into online travel search which is clearly getting more noticeable with each passing quarter and says the headwinds faced by TripAdvisor's most important source of revenue are "concerning" and show no signs of abating anytime soon.
