After attending Thomson Reuters' investor day meeting, Morgan Stanley analyst Toni Kaplan noted that the company's 2020 organic revenue growth target of 3.5%-4.5% is "well above" the 2.2% organic growth achieved by RemainCo in 2017. Additionally, the company's plan to report its segments going forward as Legal, Corporates, Tax, News, and Print gives her further conviction that Thomson Reuters can accelerate top line growth, she stated. Kaplan, who views the revenue growth as a potential catalyst for multiple expansion, raised her price target on Thomson Reuters to $56 from $53 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares.
