JPMorgan expects no "meaningful financial impact" to TrueCar (TRUE) from losing AutoNation's (AN) 279 dealers on its platform. The firm has confidence that TrueCar can mitigate the loss with its geographic and brand coverage. It also views TrueCar's firm stance enforcing its marketplace rules as a sign of strength. JPMorgan points out, however, that the AutoNation news follows recent lawsuits in California and New York, which have also weighed on the stock. It keeps an Overweight rating on TrueCar. The stock dropped 9% yesterday to $10.08 as news of the AutoNation dispute broke.
