As previously reported, BofA/Merrill upgraded Travelers to Buy from Neutral and raised its price target $127 from $123. Analyst Jay Cohen said Travelers is very well positioned given its US operations and a very small percent of revenues from the UK and Europe. Additionally, the analyst said slower US growth should have a limited impact on earnings as a bulk of its products are not discretionary and slower growth can result in reduced claims frequency.
