Loop Capital analyst Cody Acree kept his Buy rating and $36 price target on TowerJazz after attending the company's investor meetings, saying the discussions have left him with an increased conviction in its prospects. The analyst recommends that investors take advantage of the recent weakness in the stock price, as the issues that drove the disappointing Q3 guidance will prove to be "transitory", caused by "exaggerated seasonality in the mobile market and specifically an elongated inventory correction in the iPhone supply chain." Acree expects the "valuation dislocation" to be corrected as TowerJazz approaches its FY18 outlook update.
