Oppenheimer analyst Jason Helfstein notes that Twitter guided Q3 revenue 12% below the Street on weaker new advertisers and continued pricing declines, and says he believes live video is unlikely to provide material revenue given the limited amount of ads they sell. Nonetheless, the analyst sees the company being bought out by a large media company if live video does drive engagement. Oppenheimer has a Perform rating on the shares.
