As noted earlier, Stifel upgraded Universal Truckload (UACL), C.H. Robinson (CHRW), and Landstar System (LSTR) to Buy from Hold. The firm cited valuation, as well as a number of positive catalysts for the upgrades. Among the catalysts cited were the companies' ability "to seek out opportunistic M&A, pay dividends, and repurchase shares," and the firm's belief that the companies should benefit from higher margins as capacity prices drop.
